Entertaining the world with acoustic songs from the darker parts of the mind Dutch morbid folk singer-songwriter Danny Ramirez has been referred to as ‘Evil Elvis’, though he’s as much influenced by Roy Orbison and Johnny Cash, while his lyrics draw inspiration from Macabre, Necrophagia and Slayer as well as Insane Clown Posse. All influences combined result in Danny’s unique nylon-string morbid folk outsider music style.
Live performances usually take place in the Leiden area (halfway the Dutch westcoast), but Danny also played in Germany, France and Finland. He did supports for and shared festival bills with amongst others Macabre, Amigo The Devil, Bob Wayne, Joe Buck Yourself (Hank III bassplayer) and The Goddamn Gallows.

Thursday 24 August 2023 Danny released his online EP Poison To The People!, with five songs about Maria Swanenburg -- also known as Goeie Mie. Around 1880 she murdered over 20 people with arsenic in the city of Leiden, close to where Danny Ramirez himself lives. Monday 21 May 2007 the second Danny Ramirez cd got released. It has twelve songs on it, written between early 2002 and late 2006. The playing-time is about 37 minutes and it's available for 5 euro's at Danny's gigs, and at Toner Low-gigs and Kru$h-gigs.

In the final hours of March 2006 Danny Ramirez released his seventh tape with five previously unreleased songs, written between late 1998 and late 2005. They tell of things that you shouldn’t do, such as ‘Don’t Drink And Wear A Gun At The Same Time!’ and ‘Mass Murder Is Something That You Shouldn’t Do At Home!’. Mister Ramirez’s tapes are available by Danny himself or by sending an email. Murder Is Still A Crime! is the third release on the dropped out dopehead label Total Hell Cult. November 2005 the One Day On The Road With Danny Ramirez-roadmovie has been released on dvd. For the audio-part of this dvd Danny Ramirez recorded four new songs, and added two re-mixed favourites of his Reload Your Gun!-cd. Special versions of more songs of the cd are in the movie, and there’s also some extra’s on it. All in all 69 minutes of audio and visual Danny-stuff. The One Day-dvd is available for 6 euro’s, by asking Danny Ramirez in person or by sending an email to the ‘Contact!’-link in the side-bar on the left.
DANNY RAMIREZ RELEASED ON A KILLING SPREE!
April 2005 Mister Ramirez released On A Killing Spree!, his sixth demotape. It has seven songs about armed men on a killing spree, firing around with no regard for whosoever. Some titles are ‘I’m Trigger Happy And I Don’t Give A Damn!’, ‘Now I Am Driven To Kill!’ and ‘It Is The Killing Spree Season!’. Ramirez-tapes are available by Danny himself or by sending an email, waiting for an answer how to order. On A Killing Spree! is the second release on Danny’s evil underground dopesmoker label Total Hell Cult.
THE NIGHT STALKER FINALLY RELEASED!
May 2004 Danny Ramirez released his first demotape in 3-and-a-half years, entitled The Night Stalker!. It contains 10 songs based upon the life of Richard ‘the Night Stalker’ Ramirez, the gruesome killer of the 1985-Los Angeles suburbs. The songs were recorded some time ago, but in May 2004 Danny finally found the right Full Moon to mix and release this long-awaited tape. Some titles are ‘Six Months Of Night Stalking Had Begun!’ and ‘Richard Drew Pentagrams In Blood Around The Place!’. It’s a tape about Dope, Death and The Devil and a true evil underground-release by Total Hell Cult productions.
